What porting does for the V10.
Ten cylinders means ten chances for the factory casting to be inconsistent — and the Viper's ports respond to CNC work precisely because the displacement is so enormous. Every CFM gained gets multiplied by 8.3 or 8.4 liters of demand. Ported V10 heads transform mid-range torque delivery on street cars and are non-negotiable on the big NA builds and boosted monsters this platform produces.
This isn't theoretical for us — Viper engine builds are part of the shop's portfolio, and the port program was developed on engines we assembled and dyno-proved ourselves. If the heads are off, it's also the moment to talk valves, springs, and whether the bottom end matches your goal — that conversation lives over at engine builds, and the calibration happens on our dyno either way.

Why is it hard to find a shop that ports Viper heads?
Volume and fear — the V10 is rare enough that most shops never develop a program for it, and mistakes on irreplaceable castings are expensive. We built ours on engines we assembled and dyno-proved in-house.
What gains do ported heads give a Viper?
Displacement multiplies airflow gains — the V10 responds across the whole curve, with mid-range torque the street driver actually feels. NA builds and boosted cars both lean on ported heads to hit their numbers.
Can I ship my V10 heads to you?
Yes — mail-in works the same as our other platforms: ship bare heads, we CNC-port, flow-bench, document, and return them with the sheet. Given the castings’ rarity, we will walk you through packaging carefully first.

Yes — Viper V10 builds are a shop specialty, from healthy refreshes to full-power builds, machined and assembled in-house and proven on our dyno before delivery.
