Why people book dyno time.

Baseline before mods

Document what the car really makes today, so every future gain is measured against a real number — same dyno, same conditions.

Before / after proof

Added a tune, headers, an intake? Back-to-back sessions show exactly what your money bought — in wheel horsepower, not marketing.

Verify someone else's work

Bought a "tuned" car, or paid another shop for a map? We measure power and check air/fuel so you know it's safe and honest.

Health check under load

Air/fuel ratio under full load tells the truth about fueling problems long before they become engine problems.

How a session works.

Straight talk on what we don't do: our dyno handles two-wheel-drive vehicles only — no AWD, no motorcycles. If that's you, call anyway and we'll point you somewhere good.

Dyno + tune is the real combo.

A dyno session tells you where the car stands. A custom dyno tune moves it — mapped on this same dyno, verified with the same instruments, so the gains on your sheet are the gains in your seat. Locked Dodge, BMW, or GM ECU? The unlock happens in-house too. And if the numbers say the engine wants more than bolt-ons, that conversation starts at engine builds.

Common questions.

What does a dyno session include?

Multiple back-to-back pulls on our in-house chassis dyno with a printed sheet of your car's actual wheel horsepower, torque, and air/fuel ratio. You're welcome to watch every pull. $349, by appointment.

Do you dyno AWD cars or motorcycles?

No — our chassis dyno handles two-wheel-drive vehicles only (RWD and FWD), and we don't test motorcycles. If your car is AWD, call us and we'll point you in the right direction.

Why get a baseline pull before modding?

Because every gain claim needs a starting number. A baseline documents what your car actually makes today, so when you add a tune or bolt-ons the before/after is real, measured on the same dyno under the same conditions — not a brochure estimate.

Is a dyno pull safe for my car?

A healthy car handles dyno pulls exactly like a highway on-ramp. We monitor air/fuel and temperatures during every session and stop if anything looks off — the dyno is where problems get caught, not caused. If your car has a known issue, tell us and we'll check it first.

Wheel horsepower vs crank horsepower — what will my sheet show?

Wheel horsepower — what actually reaches the pavement after drivetrain losses. It's normally 10–15% below the factory crank rating on a stock car. Wheel numbers are the honest currency of the tuning world, and they're what your sheet reports.

Can you verify a tune another shop did?

Yes — verification pulls are one of the most common sessions we run. We'll measure the power and check air/fuel so you know whether the tune is safe and delivering what you paid for. What you do with the answer is up to you; the numbers don't lie.
