Diagnostics that find it.

A modified car that runs wrong is a different problem than a stock one — and most general shops throw parts at it until your wallet is empty. We diagnose performance and drivability issues the right way: read the data, find the actual cause, and fix it. Misfires, check-engine lights, a controller acting up, a tune gone sideways — we tell you what is really wrong before anyone touches a wrench.

What we diagnose.

Drivability & misfires

Rough idle, hesitation, a misfire that no one else can pin down. We datalog the car under real conditions and find the cylinder, the sensor, or the tune behind it.

Check-engine on modified cars

A CEL on a tuned or bolt-on car scares most shops off. We read the codes in context of the mods, tell you which matter and which are noise, and fix the ones that do.

ECU / ECM diagnosis

Is the computer actually the problem, or is it a sensor lying to it? We confirm before you spend on a controller you may not need — most "bad ECU" cars have a bad input.

Reflash, reprogram & replace

A corrupted flash, a botched mail-order tune, or a genuinely dead ECM: we reflash it, restore it to stock, or source and program a replacement so the car runs right again.

Data first, parts last.

The reason a modified car ends up at three shops before ours is simple: diagnosing a car that is not stock takes someone who understands what the mods changed. A "random misfire" code on a built engine, a drivability issue after a tune, a check-engine light that only shows under boost — these need data and experience, not a parts cannon. We plug in, datalog it running, and read what the car is actually doing before we quote a repair.

On the controller side, be clear on what we do: we diagnose whether the ECU/ECM is truly the fault, we reflash and reprogram to fix corrupted or bad calibrations, we unlock locked controllers (see ECU unlocks), and when a unit is genuinely dead we source and program a replacement. Board-level electronics repair we refer out — but most "my ECU is bad" cars never needed a new one in the first place, and we will tell you that honestly.

Common questions.

My check-engine light is on after a tune or bolt-ons — can you help?

That is exactly our lane. A CEL on a modified car has to be read in the context of the mods — some codes are expected and harmless, others are real. We datalog the car, separate the noise from the problem, and fix what actually matters.

Do you actually repair ECUs / ECMs?

We diagnose the controller, reflash and reprogram it, and if it is genuinely failed we source and program a replacement so your car runs. Board-level component (solder) repair we refer to a specialist — but in our experience most "bad ECU" cars have a bad sensor or connector, not a bad computer, and we confirm that before you spend.

Can you find a misfire another shop gave up on?

Often, yes. Misfires that survive a parts-swap are usually fuel, spark, compression, or a calibration issue that only shows under load — and finding them takes datalogging the car running, not just reading a code in the parking lot. That is how we work.

What does a diagnostic cost?

It depends on the issue — a code-read and quick datalog is quick; chasing an intermittent gremlin takes longer. We scope it up front so you are never surprised, and if the fix is with us, the diagnostic time rolls into the repair.

My car won't start or is in limp mode — is that something you handle?

If it is drivability, fueling, sensor, or calibration related on a performance or modified car, yes. Call us and describe it; we will tell you honestly whether it is in our wheelhouse or a job better sent to a specialist.

Do you work on stock cars or only modified ones?

Modified, tuned, boosted, and swapped cars are our specialty because they are the hardest to diagnose right. We take stock performance cars too — but a straight, unmodified daily with a generic issue is usually better and cheaper at a general shop, and we will say so.
