Coyote heads, CNC-ported.

Ford’s 5.0 Coyote carries the best factory heads in the muscle segment — four valves per cylinder and real airflow out of the box. Porting refines what Ford started: cleaner bowls, better short-turns, and flow numbers that pay off hardest with cams, boost, or high-rpm builds. CNC-cut, flow-benched, documented. $1,200 a pair, local or mail-in.

What porting does for the Coyote.

Straight talk: the Coyote's four-valve heads flow well stock, so porting one is about the build, not the badge. On a naturally aspirated street car, gains are honest but modest. Where ported Coyote heads earn their money is with intent — cam packages that spin past 7,500, supercharged and turbocharged builds where every CFM multiplies, and high-compression NA builds chasing the last honest horsepower. Gen 3's dual injection and revised ports respond especially well through the mid-lift.

Every set gets our CNC program, a flow bench session, and a documented stock-vs-ported sheet. If the heads are coming off anyway, it's the right time — and if the plan is bigger, our engine build program takes Coyotes from refresh to four-figure power, with the calibration done in-house on the same dyno that proves the build.

Common questions.

Is porting worth it on a stock Mustang GT?

Honestly — not by itself. The Coyote’s factory heads are good enough that a stock engine wants a tune and bolt-ons first. Porting earns its money when cams, boost, or a build are in the plan. We will tell you straight which you need.

Which Coyote generation responds best to porting?

All three gain, but Gen 3’s revised ports and dual injection respond especially well through the mid-lift — and boosted applications multiply the gains on any generation.

Do ported heads help a supercharged Coyote?

Significantly — under boost, every CFM the heads gain gets multiplied. Ported heads are a staple ingredient in the blown Coyote builds that make serious power without leaning on more pulley.

Can you port GT350 or GT500 heads?

The Voodoo and Predator are their own conversation — call us. The flat-plane 5.2 and the Predator’s supercharged 5.2 both take port work; they are scoped as projects rather than the flat-rate pair price.

How does mail-in work for Coyote heads?

Ship the bare heads; we CNC-port, flow-bench, document, and ship back with the measured sheet. Turnaround and packaging get scoped on the phone before you send anything.
