HEMI heads, CNC-ported.
We tune more supercharged Hemis than any other platform — and porting is where the Gen-3 HEMI’s legendary heads earn their keep. 5.7 Eagle, 6.1 SRT8, 6.4 Apache, and Hellcat heads, CNC-cut in-house, flow-benched, and documented. $1,200 a pair, drop-off or mail-in from anywhere in the country.
Heads we port.
What porting does for the Gen-3 HEMI.
The Gen-3 HEMI's twin-plug hemispherical chamber breathes well from the factory — which is exactly why porting it pays: the casting quality is there, and a CNC program unlocks what Chrysler's production tolerances left rough. Eagle 5.7 heads pick up flow across the entire lift range. The 6.4 Apache casting is the family's best raw material, and ported it feeds a 392 the way the displacement deserves. The 6.1 SRT8 remains a cult favorite, and we still cut them regularly.
Hellcat heads are their own conversation: under 11+ psi of blower, every CFM gained multiplies, and ported heads are a core ingredient in the 900+ builds we map. Ported heads want a matching calibration — we handle the 392 and Hellcat tunes in-house, and the PCM unlock when your Dodge needs one. One roof, no finger-pointing.
Common questions.
Is porting worth it on a stock 5.7 HEMI?
Yes, if you are building toward something — heads, cam, and tune together transform a 5.7. Porting alone on an otherwise-stock truck engine is money better saved; we will tell you which side of that line you are on.
What do ported heads gain on a Hellcat?
Under boost, ported heads multiply — they are a core ingredient in serious supercharged builds. Combined with a pulley, fuel, and a proper map, ported Hellcat heads help carry the 900+ wheel builds we calibrate.
Do ported heads require a new tune?
Always — the airflow change moves fueling and spark requirements, and running the old calibration wastes the port work. We port and tune under one roof, so the heads and the map are built for each other.
Which HEMI head is the best starting casting?
The 6.4 Apache — it is the family’s best raw material and our porting program takes it further. The Eagle 5.7 gains the most percentage-wise; the Hellcat head gains the most in absolute power because boost multiplies everything.
Can I mail my HEMI heads in?
Absolutely — ship the bare heads and we CNC-port, flow-bench, document, and return them with the measured sheet. Call first and we will scope packaging, turnaround, and valve options.
