Challenger Hellcat tune. Nashville.
The 6.2 supercharged Hemi is the platform we tune more than any other. Stock Hellcat → 800+ rear wheel hp on E85 is a well-trodden path. Redeye and Demon variants covered same platform. We unlock, flash, and road-test in-house. PCM unlock included with every Stage 1.
Every Carma tune includes.
Real prices, no dyno-number runaround. Here's what comes with every flash — at no extra charge.
What we do for the hellcat.
Stage 1 includes the PCM unlock (Hellcats lock the OE PCM), the custom map, flashed same-day. We tighten the throttle response, optimize spark across boost zones, and unlock the supercharger's real performance envelope. From there it's pulley + bolt-ons + flex fuel + methanol — each step scoped before you pay.
Challenger buyers split between the six-speed manual and the 8HP90 auto — and the tune treats them differently. The manual gets rev-hang cleanup and low-gear torque management pulled back; the auto gets shift-pressure and converter-lockup work the factory calibration leaves soft. Heat is this car's enemy in a Tennessee July: our maps run IAT2-referenced spark so the car protects itself in traffic and wakes up the moment the blower cools.
- PCM unlock included (one-time, persists for life of the vehicle)
- Custom-mapped for your exact pulley / mod combination
- Safe map flashed and road-tested in-house
- E85 / flex-fuel mapping for sustained 800+ builds
- Redeye + Demon variants covered same platform
- Lifetime support on revisions

Mods we pair with this tune.
The usual suspects we bolt to Challenger Hellcats alongside the flash — in rough order of dollar-per-horsepower.
- Pulley + injector package — the classic step past Stage 1 — mid-800s on flex fuel with supporting mods.
- Methanol injection — pulls 40–60° out of IAT2 on back-to-back pulls; the cheap route to consistency.
- Drag radials + skinnies — the car ships with more power than traction. Hooking it is the real mod.
- Catch can + 180° thermostat — keeps the blown Hemi’s intake tract clean and coolant temps in the happy zone.
- Long-tube headers — frees the exhaust side and picks up power everywhere. Requires a re-map — ours is free.
No dyno-number games, no hard sell. Drive it, and if the tune isn't for you, we revert to stock at no charge. That's how confident we are in the map.
Common questions.
Will Dodge detect the tune on my Hellcat?
The unlocked PCM stores some events but most aren't reviewed during a typical dealer visit. We offer free stock-revert before planned visits. The PCM unlock itself can't be reversed — that's by design — but we can re-flash factory calibration on top.
Do I need 93 octane or can I run pump 91?
Hellcat tunes require 93 minimum. Stage 2 with pulley + flex-fuel is built for E85 + 93 blend. Cars running stock pulley on 91 see noticeable timing pull.
What's the smaller pulley going to cost me?
Pulley install + tune scope-out runs $1,200–$2,000 depending on which pulley size and supporting mods. We'll quote the full path on the call.
How long does the Hellcat appointment take?
Stage 1 with PCM unlock: 3 hours on the lift. Stage 2 with pulley install: full day.
Manual or auto — which tunes better?
The 8HP90 auto puts down better numbers and better consistency; the manual is more fun per dollar. We tune both — the manual gets clutch-friendly torque delivery, the auto gets firmer, faster shifts under WOT.
Why do supercharged cars lose power in summer?
Heat soak. The blower’s intercooler loop saturates on repeat pulls, IAT2 climbs, and the PCM pulls spark to protect the engine. Our maps manage it rather than ignore it — and a heat exchanger or meth kit largely erases it.
Can you tune a Demon or Demon 170?
Yes — same family, wilder hardware. Those are scoped as custom builds rather than a menu Stage 1: the fuel system and blower on the 170 put it firmly in project territory. Call and we’ll map the path.
