Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing tune. Nashville.
The Blackwing shares its LT4 6.2 supercharged V8 with the Camaro ZL1 and CTS-V. Tuning playbook is identical — same engine, same supercharger, same opportunities. Stage 1 unlocks 30–50 wheel hp on stock pulley. Smaller pulley + flex fuel pushes well into the 800s.
Every Carma tune includes.
Real prices, no dyno-number runaround. Here's what comes with every flash — at no extra charge.
What we do for the ct5-v blackwing.
We map throttle, spark, and fueling across the LT4's full boost envelope. The Blackwing's ECU calibration is conservative from the factory — there's real headroom on 93 octane. Pulley + bolt-ons + flex fuel territory is where the platform shows its ceiling.
The Blackwing is the LT4 supercharged V8 in its best factory form — 668 hp, available six-speed manual, and a chassis Cadillac clearly built out of spite. The tuning playbook mirrors the ZL1: recover the conservative spark GM left at peak boost, manage blower heat honestly, and calibrate the transmission — 10L90 or the Tremec manual — to the new output.

Mods we pair with this tune.
Blackwing mods are blower math with a luxury-sedan twist:
- Upper pulley — the LT4’s proven first step — best $/hp on the car with a proper map.
- CAI + airflow — feeds the blower; keeps IATs from eating your gains.
- Long-tube headers — the exhaust-side unlock the 6.2 rewards loudly.
- E85 blend / flex fueling — ethanol suits the DI blower combo perfectly.
- 10L90 calibration — the auto’s factory shift logic is polite; tuned, it’s vicious. Manual cars get NLS cleanup.
No dyno-number games, no hard sell. Drive it, and if the tune isn't for you, we revert to stock at no charge. That's how confident we are in the map.
Common questions.
Is the Blackwing tune different from a Camaro ZL1?
Same LT4 engine + supercharger. The Blackwing PCM has different shift logic and gear ratios. We tune it as its own platform with platform-specific calibration.
Do I need a smaller pulley to make real power?
Stage 1 on stock pulley: 30–50 wheel hp. Smaller pulley + supporting mods: 800+ wheel hp.
Will the 10-speed (or manual) hold up?
Both handle Stage 1 and Stage 2 power. Built-engine territory or sustained 1000+ wheel hp builds need transmission attention.
How long does the Blackwing appointment take?
Stage 1: 2–3 hours. Stage 2 with pulley install: full day.
Manual or 10-speed — does the tune differ?
Engine map is shared; the 10L90 additionally gets shift-pressure and schedule work, while the Tremec cars get no-lift-shift and rev-match refinement. Pick your religion; we calibrate both.
Is it literally the same tune as a ZL1?
Same LT4, same supercharger, same opportunities — but the Blackwing’s weight, gearing, and cooling get their own calibration. The playbook transfers; the map is built for the car.
What about the CT4-V Blackwing?
Different engine — the twin-turbo V6 has its own path and its own appetite for boost. We tune it too; call and we’ll scope it.
