Mustang EcoBoost tune. Nashville.
The 2.3 EcoBoost is one of the most tune-responsive entry platforms on the market. Stage 1 alone can pick up 70+ wheel hp on stock fuel system with 93 octane. Stage 2 with downpipe + intercooler is where it really opens up.
Every Carma tune includes.
Real prices, no dyno-number runaround. Here's what comes with every flash — at no extra charge.
What we do for the ecoboost.
We push boost intelligently across the RPM band, optimize timing, and unlock the safe headroom Ford left on the table. Stage 1 customers commonly see 380–400 wheel hp on stock turbo + intercooler. Stage 2 with bolt-ons + flex fuel pushes well past 450 with stock turbo.
The 2.3 EcoBoost is the best percentage-gain platform in the Mustang lineup — a small turbo four wearing a very conservative factory calibration, which is why Stage 1 transforms it. The tune sharpens boost response where the factory map lazes, and the 10R80 automatic gets shift logic that finally matches the chassis. It's the honest budget path into real Mustang performance.

Mods we pair with this tune.
EcoBoost mods, in order of what your dollar actually buys:
- Front-mount intercooler — the stock unit heat-soaks fast; the essential supporting mod.
- Catted downpipe — the turbo-four’s biggest restriction, mapped with Stage 2.
- E85 blends — ethanol spark makes a small turbo feel a size bigger.
- Intake + charge pipe — completes the airflow package.
- 10R80 calibration — auto cars: crisper shifts, smarter kickdown, more fun per gear.
No dyno-number games, no hard sell. Drive it, and if the tune isn't for you, we revert to stock at no charge. That's how confident we are in the map.
Common questions.
How much can I make on the stock turbo?
Stage 1 on a stock car: 380–400 wheel hp. Stage 2 with IC + DP + intake + flex fuel: 460+ wheel hp. Above that you'll want a bigger turbo.
Do I need premium fuel?
93 octane minimum for any Stage 1 tune. E85 flex unlocks the safest power envelope on the platform — we strongly recommend it for sustained 400+ wheel hp builds.
Will the stock fuel system support Stage 2?
Stock pump + injectors are good to about 450 wheel hp on 93. Past that, port-injection or a meth kit is the next step.
How long does the appointment take?
Stage 1: 2 hours. Stage 2 with parts to install: half-day to full day depending on what's already installed.
Will the tune hurt my fuel economy?
Cruising economy stays the same or slightly improves — the map only changes what happens deep in the pedal. Use the new power constantly and, well, physics sends the bill.
Can I run E85?
Blends, yes — and the small-displacement turbo responds dramatically to ethanol’s octane and cooling. Fueling limits scoped before we promise numbers.
Is the High Performance Package car different?
The HPP’s larger turbo raises the ceiling meaningfully — same process, better hardware, its own map. Both flash same-day.
