BMW M5 tune. Nashville.
The S63 in the F10 (560-575 hp variants) and F90 (600+ hp variants) M5 is one of the most aggressively tune-responsive twin-turbo V8s ever produced. Stage 1 alone picks up 100+ wheel hp on most platforms. F90 Competition tuned past 850 wheel hp on flex fuel is documented territory.

What we do for the m5.
Stage 1 unlocks boost, fueling, and spark across the S63's broad boost envelope. The platform is conservatively tuned from the factory — there's real headroom on 93 octane and dramatic headroom on E85. We've tuned F90 M5 Comps hitting 900+ wheel hp on bolt-on mods + flex fuel.
The S63's hot-vee twin-turbo V8 has been embarrassing supercars since 2011, and the F90 with xDrive finally gave it traction to match. Our maps scale the launch and torque-ramp logic for the AWD driveline, calibrate the ZF8's clamp to the new output, and reference intake temps so back-to-back pulls stay honest. F90s from 2021 on ship with a locked DME — one-time bench unlock, done in-house with the appointment.

Mods we pair with this tune.
M5 builds follow the twin-turbo V8 playbook:
- Downpipes — the S63’s primary restriction — big mid-range with the matched map.
- E85 blend / flex fueling — where 850+ wheel F90s live.
- Charge-cooling upgrades — hot-vee heat management for repeat-pull consistency.
- ZF8 calibration — clamp, shift speed, launch RPM — matched to the torque, always.
- Meth injection — optional insurance for track days and Tennessee summers.
No dyno-number games, no hard sell. Drive it, and if the tune isn't for you, we revert to stock at no charge. That's how confident we are in the map.
Common questions.
Will BMW detect the M5 tune?
Yes — F90 M5 platforms log overboost events. We offer free stock-revert before any planned dealer visit. Tell us your service-interval plans up front.
Stage 1 vs Stage 2 hp difference?
Stage 1 on F90 Competition: +100–130 wheel hp. Stage 2 with downpipes + intake + flex fuel: +200–250 wheel hp.
Do I need bigger turbos for 900+?
Stock turbos are good to about 900 wheel hp with proper supporting mods. Past that, upgraded turbos + built engine is the path.
How long does the M5 appointment take?
Stage 1: 2–3 hours. Stage 2 with mods to install: half-day to full day.
Are xDrive launches safe at tuned power?
Yes — we keep launch RPM and first-gear torque ramp inside driveline tolerance at the new output. The F90 was built to launch; the map respects that while using the headroom.
My F90 is a 2021+ — locked DME?
Correct — newer S63 DMEs need a one-time bench unlock before they accept a calibration. In-house, same-day, included in the appointment flow.
Why does my M5 feel slower in July than March?
Heat. Twin turbos in the vee soak fast in summer traffic, and the factory map pulls spark hard. Our calibration manages intake temps honestly — and charge-cooling upgrades erase most of the seasonal delta.
